When you gave your life to Christ and was baptized, that was a rebirth! Baptism symbolizes the old creature dying and a new creature emerging from the water. You are now a new creature in Christ! You don’t talk the same way and most of all you don’t think the same way. You are now living for Christ and set apart from the world. A rebirth!
Easter or what Christians call Resurrection Day is the celebration of Jesus’ death and resurrection. Jesus died and resurrected for the remissions of our sins. In other words, Jesus paid it all on Calvary. His death and resurrection allows sinners everywhere to have a chance at a new life here on earth and an eternal life in heaven.
As you prepare to celebrate Jesus’ death and resurrection, think on your very own rebirth. How has living for Christ changed you? Are you shining your light so that people can see Jesus in you? This is a very dark world that we live in. It is so important more than ever for people to see the rebirth within us. Jesus was all about transforming lives. Are we as Christians allowing our rebirths to bring others to Christ? If the answer is no, it is not too late to start afresh. Do an evaluation of yourself and see where you can improve and make changes so that your life can align with the word of God. Romans 12:2 KJV says And be not conformed to this world: but ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Matthew 5:16 KJV says Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.
Rebirth is all about living a better and healthier life by accepting Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. This Holy week allow your rebirthing to shine through! God bless you!
